This book blew me away. I swear that Bella is a vampire herself and she never sleeps. Book 34 is about Hazel, Ruby, Benedict and Julian and them helping Sentries win a competition. This book could stand on it’s own without being connected to the Shade Books. The story line is fantastic and the connection that the characters have with one another is outstanding. I didn’t even miss the main characters of the Shade story which disturbs me a little bit.
In this book you have the characters that you will love and one or two that you will hate a lot.
As you know, Hazel has to help Tejus to win the Trials but can they do it and even Ruby gets into the act and Benedict and Julian go on their own little adventure which turns up some very interesting things.
Overall you are going to absolutely love this book and it’s a must have for your Shade collection

Love this one as much as the others. Didn't put it down until I was done. Can wait to starting reading the next book.
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of Bella Forrest stories. She is such a great storyteller. It's still hard to believe this started with Derek and Sofia. The books have evolved into so much more. Tales of romance and heroism, challenges and victories. Each story is so different but still connected to the strong bond that makes the Shade what it is.
Another wonderful book with unexpected twists and turns! Im not exactly sure about these new species especially with the vicious jenus around... But then again nobody in the story is not part of the story. All 4 of them have fantastic adventures of their own and especially these 4 are still humans. I wish the shade could have find them soon! Cant wait!
I love these books so much I get stuck in the shade every time i read them. But I finished this one so fast. I just started reading it last night and finished it now. I read the whole book in one day. I can't wait for the next one. Never been so I'm love with a book searies in my life.
How Bella Forrest continues to write such a fresh, thought provoking and mesmerizing storyline after introducing the third generation of characters, astonishes me ! I can not wait until the next book release.
Once again I give this book 5 stars! Ugh seems like I'll never get tired of this series read them all and I'll still keep reading them! Lol! So I am obsessed with Hazels story! Love learning about this new species the Sentries!!! They seem very fascinating creatures similar to vampires but in a way completely different! Loved meeting new characters and i am falling so hard for Tejus! I pray that hazel can find a way to break down his walls just like Sofia did with Derek and just like how rose did with Caleb!!! Ugh! Already getting pumped for the next one. So so excited!!!!! Thanks Bella Forrest for inventing The Shade!!!!! I love you!!!!!! )
I am not sold on the new addition to Shade. This fifth series lack a lot in the original storytelling and even if the off spring's are being pull through portal's into other dimensions. I started getting into the games. But, than the author last chapter ending with Rose investigating a father and children missing, Making the readers believe this was a lead in to the disappearance of the children being use for the games . . .I think. Cliffhanger unclear.
