This is a fun satisfying romance. I would have loved to visited Nestled Hollow. It reminded me of Stars Hollow with the weekly town meetings. The characters were real, and were people I’d love to spend time with. Whitney was fascinating as someone constantly surrounding herself with people, but isolating herself from them at the same time. And I loved her t-shirt slogans. So awesome! Eli’s back and forth between confident adult and insecure teenager made me super sympathetic towards him. And seriously, I loved his job! I want to go to his TeamUp training! So many things to love in this book.

This is a story of opening your heart to love and not being afraid of being hurt. Even though years have been wasted the truth of your feelings will in the end set you free.. It was so interesting to watch the characters of Whitney and Eli evolve in the story and finally resolve to have their happily ever after. I cannot wait to read the next book!
This is a sweet, clean romance. Loved it! He left on graduation night. She stayed in town. Their lives are 1000 miles apart from each other. What makes them think they can take up where they left off and come out unscathed?
Everything a book should be. I so appreciated the fact that it’s an entertaining and pleasant romance without all the physical details I’d rather not read about. I really liked this book! Thank you Meg!!
Whitney owner of the Nestled Hollow Gazette, the success was that it’s focus on issues and the happening of the people. The TeamUp training grounds Eli loved his job. Now going home for one and half months, wasn’t easy. He remembers the girl twelve years ago when he left, Whitney. He would be here until after the Fall Market, taking his dad’s place. His parents made him come back to run the store. For Whitney it took two years after he left, to get over hi, and she doesn’t date. Two head strong people need to talk things over, and forgiveness. Everyone in town knew what happened back then, would they be for or against them working together. Nice enjoyable story of second chances.
This was a delightful book to read. It's been awhile since I read a book that made me feel as good as this one. Cole and Sam {Samantha}, lost his wife/her mother to cancer a few years earlier. Brooke has become Cole's best friend and shares a close relationship with Sam for almost three years. Samantha has her tenth birthday approaching and it brings many memories of the mother she has lost. Can the three of them work together to make this a special time to remember for each one of them?!
A delightful, clean romance with a definite HEA! I would recommend this book to any ages.

This book impacted me in many ways. I could relate so well to Eli and how his parents treated him. Everytime I read the words his father yelled at him, I cringed. When he finally was able to forgive his father at the end, it really made me stop and think...Lord, can I forgive my mother? I know I need to work on that. Help me, Father. Put within me a heart of forgiveness toward her. LOL, sorry, getting too personal here. The book is fun and very descriptive. Lots of kisses, but clean, and no profanity, which is why I love to read CF. I liked the other characters in the town (all except Eli's father, and he never really changed, except for one conversation...sorry for the spoilers). I truly admired Whitney for the kind of woman she was. Lovely ending. All in all, well worth the read.
Eli Treanor ran away from his family and his girlfriend Whitney Brennan twelve years ago because he thought none of them really loved him and that he could never measure up to their expectations. People in Whitney’s life have left her Eli, her father when he died, her fiance when he left her for a job in New York, her mother and sister Jackie when they moved away to South Carolina, and her boss and mentor when he died soon after signing over running the Nested Hollow Gazette to her. When Eli’s father is injured he goes back home to Nestled Hollow to help him and ends up on the planning committee for the Fall Market with Whitney. Neither them has ever stopped loving the other. Can they overcome past hurts and find a way back together? I loved the idea of Eli’s company TeamUp that came up with fun and creative team building exercises for companies. The festival sounded magical and it made me want to visit a town like Nestled Hollow.
