When Kate Kingston loses her job as a probation officer, she decides to start her own business, helping police to monitor criminals in a house arrest program. After sinking every dime she has into equipment and supplies, Kate gets a break, her first client, but why does it have to John Mackowitz, a former high school crush with the uncanny ability to get under her skin.
John Mackowitz has dedicated his career to upholding the law. A by-the-book police officer, John is shocked when he finds himself portrayed as a dirty cop and accused of selling confiscated drugs. After his partner is shot in the line of duty, John knows he has no choice but to find the people responsible, even if he's technically not supposed to leave the confines of his house.
Kate knows that the only way her program, her livelihood, and her future can survive is if she can keep Mack in his house. He knows the only way to find justice is to go out and find the truth. And they both know getting involved is a bad idea, but as danger hits closer to home, they find the only people they can trust are one another.

STUCK ON YOU was a wonderful story that I enjoyed reading very much. Kate was a terrific heroine; she was strong-minded, determined, smart and caring. Mack (or John) was a hero worthy of her; he was tough, stubborn, and had a hard shell with a soft center. The way that Kate and Mack worked together (even when they seemed at cross-purposes) to learn who had framed Mack as a drug dealer made for a very exciting plot. I really liked the personalities of Kate and Mack and it was a pleasure to read their HEA ending. This story had some really clever twists in the plot and the dialogues were authentic and fun to read. I definitely recommend this book.Product details

I was lucky enough to hear bits of this book when it was being written, and waiting for the whole thing to be available was a test of patience - but oh, it was so worth the wait! What a fun story, filled with snappy dialogue and characters that linger in your memory. A true delight.
A pretty good read
This had a more unique plot than is usual for me, which I really appreciated, and it was enjoyable finding out how it was going to end.
The chemistry between the Mack and Kate is just plain hot! The plot is fast paced and smooth. A fantastic ride. I love heroines that are strong and snappy, who don't back down and that is Kate. Read this in one setting, I couldn't set it down. I can't wait to read more of Ms. Wenger's books. Fantastic!Stuck On You
Great story, loving all Christine Wenger's books. The amount of mystery, romance and comedy was just right. I hope to find theses characters in future books.
The story was good as was the writing. The conspiracy element kept me reading until the end so I could solve the mystery along with the main characters. Overall it was a good read.
Christine Wenger never disappoints. From her cowboy books to her Adirondack men to Stuck on You, I love the character interaction, the dialogue, and the happily-ever-after. Strong heroines attract, and I totally sympathized with Kate trying to get her life in order on her own merit. Mack could stay "stuck" in my house, any time.
